Online Recipe Review: I tried couscous for the first time.

I would like to review the recipe about couscous which was written by Shu-Chun on Foodgawker. According to this recipe, we can make the dish quickly and easily. In addition, we can serve hot as a side or serve as a cold salad. I wanted to make a simple couscous dish because I had never eaten couscous before. Also, this recipe is kind because it has many pictures. So, I chose Shu-chun’s recipe.
It took about 15 minutes to understand this recipe. It took about 1 hour and a half to make this couscous, including the time for making stock. If you use stock which is sold in stores, you can make this dish in about 20 minutes. Making this dish was easy and the taste was good. Some ingredients which I had never used are used in this recipe. I bought couscous at yamaya. Yamaya sells imported foods. However, I couldn’t find cajun spice. So I used cajun sauce instead of cajun spice. The quantity of cajun sauce which I used is 1 tsp. Cajun sauce tastes spicy, but it is not hot. Also, I used muscat raisin instead of sultanas . Besides, I used almonds in the shape of dice instead of slivered almonds because I couldn’t find slivered almonds. However, I think couscous with slivered almonds is more delicious than couscous with almonds in the shape of dice. The texture of almonds in the shape of dice is not good. In addition, I made vegetable stock with no salt. I put onions, carrots, and mushrooms in the stock. I show three pictures. The first picture is stock. The second picture is dried mixed herbs and cajun sauce. The third picture is couscous.
