Summer Quiche

My name is Wakana Takahashi.

My topic is Quiche.

The title is Summer Quiche.

Introduction

It is a quiche recipe which is made by me. I had made quiche following a recipe on the website. However, it wasn’t perfect for me. So, I tried making quiche with my recipe. My recipe has two features. First, this quiche is light because it is made of no heavy cream. Second, you feel a strong egg taste because it has a large proportion of eggs. To make this quiche takes 1 hours. I chose this recipe for the project because it was my new challenge with a new cooking tool, talt mold. I wanted to use it.

I recommend families to try this quiche because it is fun to eat a piece of quiche after cutting a round quiche. I will show you the recipe.

Recipe(You can make a 18cm quiche.)

  1. Start heating the oven to 200℃ and Spread butter on the tart mold to remove the quiche easily.

  1. Mix A to make dough by using rubber spatula. After that, thin the dough by using a rolling pin and a cutting board which covered flour.

  1. Spread the dough in the tart mold and pierce the bottom of the dough throughout by using a fork. Then, bake the dough in the oven which is heated 200℃ for 15 minutes.

  1. Cut zucchinis, onions, and bacon by using a cutting board and a kitchen knife. The thickness is 1cm. Length of Zucchinis is 3cm.

  1. Spread salad oil in the frying pan and Stir-fry cutted zucchinis, onions, and bacon with salt and pepper by using a medium heat frying pan about 3 minutes.

  1. Mix B well by using a bowl and a pair of cooking chopsticks.

  1. Put fried vegetables and bacon, mixed B, and powdered cheese on the dough.

  1. Bake it in the oven which is heated 200°C for 25 minutes. After it gets cold, remove the tart mold.

Conclusion

To make quiche takes a long time. About 1 hour is needed. However, there are only easy steps. You can change zucchinis to other vegetables which you like. Removing a talt mold is a little difficult. Using cooking chopsticks will make it easy.
